1 Oz Mason Mint Buffalo Type 2 Round BU

Uncommon version of the Buffalo round produced by Mason Mint.  Mason Mint's second version of the replica of a Buffalo Nickel. The first is similar to many other generic rounds.

Obverse: The obverse depicts a left-facing Indian similar to the buffalo nickel.  In addition to the reverse in the orientation, the Indian has been redrawn in greater detail and has an aged in appearance. The word "LIBERTY" is inscribed to the upper left of the image. The mint mark "MM" is located at the bottom left. 

Reverse: The central feature on the reverse is the right-facing buffalo which replicates the buffalo nickel.  As on the obverse, the orientation as compared to the buffalo nickel has switched. Both the buffalo and the prairie have been drawn in greater detail. The weight of "ONE TROY OUNCE" is inscribed at the top while the purity and content of ".999 FINE SILVER" can be found at the bottom.
