1 Gram Seated Liberty Replica Round BU

Rare round! 

Obverse: The design on the coin's obverse was loosely copied from the "Seated Liberty" design by Christian Gobrecht and drawn by Thomas Sully. It consists of the figure of Liberty clad in a flowing dress and seated upon a rock. Liberty's left-hand rests on the top corner of a striped shield with a diagonal banner inscribed bearing the word "Liberty". In her right hand, she holds an olive branch. The shield represented preparedness in the defense of freedom. Thirteen stars are inscribed above the image.  The image faces to the left. 

Reverse: The reverse features a central eagle about to take flight, with a striped shield upon its breast. The eagle clutches an olive branch of peace in its left talons and a group of arrows in its right. Above the eagle around the rim were the words "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA". Immediately below this is a ribbon bearing the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST". The weight, purity, and content of "1 GRAM .999 PURE SILVER" is inscribed at the bottom. The eagle faces to the right.
